Great historic content in the Syrian pavilion at “Expo 2020 Dubai, UAE Minister of Education says

An Emirati delegation, headed by Hussein Al Hammadi, Minister of Education visited the Syrian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai and toured the pavilion, inspecting the various artistic and cultural exhibits in it, from the first alphabet to the room designated for listening to the oldest music notation in history.

The visiting delegation admired the collective art exhibition hosted by the pavilion under the title “I am the Syrian”.

“I was pleased to visit the Syrian pavilion and learn about the oldest civilizations through the existing exhibits, as it contains a huge content of the greatness of Syrian history and the new vision to achieve a better future for the Syrian state,” Al Hammadi said.

For his part, Syria’s Ambassador to the UAE, Dr. Ghassan Abbas, stressed that the Syrian participation in the activities of Expo 2020 Dubai represents a great opportunity to exchange cultures and achieve intellectual and scientific communication among countries of the world

125 new coronavirus infections, 6 deaths reported in Syria

125 new coronavirus cases, 95 recoveries and 6 deaths were recorded in Syria on Saturday, according to the Health Ministry.

The Ministry said in a statement that the total number of the coronavirus cases detected in Syria has climbed to 47,901, while the recoveries have amounted to 28,243, and the reported fatalities have reached up to 2, 699.

The first case of the COVID-19 registered in Syria was on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was on the 29th of the same month.

Minister of Economy, Iranian Ambassador discuss arrangements of upcoming Iranian products Expo in Damascus

Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Mohammad Samer al-Khalil, discussed with Iranian Ambassador in Damascus, Mehdi Sobhani, arrangements for holding the 2nd Iranian products exhibition to be held in Damascus during the period between November 29th and December 3.

The two sides discussed activities accompanying the exhibition as the meetings of the joint commercial committee will be held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade, and the joint industrial committee at the headquarters of the Ministry of Industry.

They pointed out that the exhibition is the largest joint Syrian-Iranian economic event in terms of the number of participants which amounted to 164 commercial and industrial companies, in addition to 70 individuals from government agencies and the private sector and it will be an opportunity to meet Syrian and Iranian businessmen and discuss the best ways to enhance joint cooperation.
