Israeli airstrikes kill 10 Gazans in Nuseirat, Khan Younis

Amman: Jordan has “remarkable” opportunities to increase and diversify its industrial exports to various export markets, especially to the United States of America, Canada and Brazil, Head of Jordan Exporters Association (JEA), Ahmad Khudari, affirmed.

In remarks to “Petra” Saturday, Khudari said JEA is harnessing all its efforts and relations with various international institutions and concerned local stakeholders to provide all facilitations to enable industrial exporters and promote their products in global markets through specialized exhibitions.

Khudari added that the JEA, within its strategic plans to support and increase industrial exports, is working to coordinate Jordanian participation in “important” international exhibitions and hold specialized workshops to benefit from the opportunities provided by the free trade agreements, which was signed by the Kingdom with various trade blocs, especially the U.S. and Canada.

JEA, he noted, has coordinated Jordanian participation in several international e

Khudari stated that the association will coordinate participation of local industrial companies in Arab Gulf exhibitions for agricultural products and technologies, private brands, and desserts, Arab and Gulf Industry Exhibition, SIAL Paris, and Food Additives and Ingredients Exhibition during the coming period.

Khudari stressed that Jordanian industry is one of the “key” pillars in building the national economy, in light of its contribution that reaches about 25% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and employs more than 268,0

Meanwhile, Jordan’s industrial exports contribute about 90% of the total national exports, which now reach the markets of 150 countries globally, thanks to their “high quality.”

Foreign ministry condemns Israel’s attack on Al-Tabi’een school in Gaza

Amman: Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli bombing of Al-Tabi’een school, which houses displaced persons in Al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza, at Saturday dawn, which killed over 100 Palestinians and injured dozens.

The ministry said this Israeli attack is a flagrant violation of the international law rules, and deliberate and systematic aggression against civilians and centers for sheltering displaced persons.

In a statement, the ministry’s official spokesperson, Dr. Sufian Qudah, affirmed the Kingdom’s absolute condemnation and denunciation of Israel’s continued violations of international law and international humanitarian law.

Qudah added that these Israeli practices come in light of the absence of a firm international position that obliges Israel halt its aggression on Gaza and forces it to respect international law, which resulted in unprecedented killing, destruction and humanitarian disaster.

Qudah said this attack, which coincides with mediators’ a
ttempt to resume negotiations on a swap deal that will lead to a permanent ceasefire, reflects Israeli government’s efforts to obstruct and thwart these endeavors.

Amid the Israeli government’s persistence in its systematic violations of international law, Qudah urged the international community, especially the Security Council, to assume its responsibilities to immediately halt the Israeli aggression on Gaza, stop the ongoing and continuous Israeli violations of international law, and hold those responsible accountable.

Palestinian organizations condemn new Israeli massacre against worshipers in Gaza

Gaza: Palestinian human rights organizations condemned in the strongest terms the horrific mass murder committed by the Israeli occupation forces that targeted hundreds of worshipers and displaced persons, killing 97 of them in a school chapel sheltering thousands of displaced men and women in Gaza.

The human rights organizations said in a joint statement on Saturday that the crime is a blatant expression of a declared Israeli policy of continuing to commit this type of horrific crimes after 10 months of the wide military offensive on the Gaza Strip and is the result of the continued policy of impunity and the complicity of some Western countries in the grave violations against the Palestinian people by providing the occupation forces with weapons and munitions with the absence of international will to compel the occupation state to implement the decisions of the International Court of Justice to stop the ongoing genocide crime against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The organizations expressed th
eir shock at the scenes of the burned remains of dozens of martyrs that were scattered in the school’s chapel and yard, which indicates that these missiles fired at the school are of the destructive and incendiary type used by the occupation forces in the genocidal war against the Palestinian people.

They pointed out that the occupation’s claim that it uses smart bombs in its military attacks is a false claim and expresses its disregard for the entire world, as it continues to engage in mass killing and offers unfounded justifications that contradict the facts.

“Today we are facing a first-class crime that confirms the occupation’s approach to deliberately committing genocide, with the decision of the political level, to the point that Israeli Minister of Finance, Bezalel Smotrich, publicly stated that killing two million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip by starvation may be just and moral to bring Israeli prisoners back from the Gaza Strip,” the organizations added.

The organizations, including the Palestin
ian Center for Human Rights (PCHR), Al Mezan Center, and Al-Haq stressed that the occupation’s repeated justifications for targeting members of the resistance are nothing more than worthless claims, as there is no justification in any way for using such disproportionate and unnecessary force that led to the martyrdom of a large number of civilians and civilians inside a school sheltering displaced people.

The organizations called on the international community to force Israel to stop the crime of genocide, impose a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and oblige it to comply with the decisions of the International Court of Justice to impose temporary measures to prevent the crime of genocide.
