Erdogan confirms to Mikati that efforts are continuing to stop Israel’s dangerous attempts in the region

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his sadness over the attack that took place in Lebanon during a phone call with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati, stressing that efforts will continue to stop Israel’s attempts to expand the conflict in the region.

During the phone call that took place today, Wednesday, with Mikati, Erdogan warned of the danger of Israel’s attempts to expand the conflicts in the region, stressing that efforts will continue to stop them.

According to Lebanese Health Minister Firas Abiad, 12 people were killed and 2,800 were injured on Tuesday in Lebanon after Pager communication devices were detonated in the hands of those carrying them. Hezbollah held Israel fully responsible for the explosion of the communication devices, and promised it “just retribution” for this “sinful aggression”, while no official comment was issued from Tel Aviv.

On Tuesday, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone call with Najib Mikati, in which he discussed the bombings that took plac
e in Lebanon, and offered his condolences for the victims, according to Turkish diplomatic sources.

The sources indicated that Fidan received information from Mikati regarding the explosions of communication devices in Lebanon, and the Turkish Foreign Minister expressed his condolences to the Lebanese people for the loss of life resulting from these explosions.

The Lebanese border and its south are witnessing an escalation in the mutual shelling on both sides of the Israeli-Lebanese border, coinciding with Israel’s threats to launch a ground war on Lebanon despite regional and international warnings of the region exploding and getting out of control if this is implemented.

Since October 8, Lebanese and Palestinian factions in Lebanon, most notably Hezbollah, have been exchanging daily shelling with the Israeli occupation army across the “Blue Line” separating them, resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries, most of them on the Lebanese side./End

Al-Sudani: Developing electrical transmission and distribution systems is an addition of new capacity to produce national electrical energy

Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani stressed that developing the electrical transmission and distribution systems is an addition of new capacity to produce national electrical energy.

A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office stated that Al-Sudani inaugurated, via a television circuit, a number of electrical energy projects in the governorates of Nineveh and Salah al-Din, which are concerned with solving bottlenecks in the transmission and distribution sectors.

The new projects included the Mosul Dam station with two transformers with a capacity of (2x 250 MVA), Yarmoukah South Power Station with a capacity of (132 KVA), adding transmission lines from Yarmoukah to Al-Kayara Station with a capacity of (3x 63 MVA), and inaugurating the expansion of the Baiji Transformer Station with a capacity of (2x 250 MVA) with the implementation of Baiji-South Tikrit transmission lines.

In a speech during the inauguration, Al-Sudani praised the efforts of workers in various sectors of the Ministry of Electricity,
expressing his appreciation for what they have accomplished in exceptional circumstances and timing, indicating that these projects suffered from procrastination for years, after being sabotaged by ISIS gangs, and were completed by qualified national cadres, equipped with the latest global sources, and employing new technology that is entering the national system for the first time, especially in the Mosul station.

Al-Sudani stressed that these projects come in accordance with the scientific diagnosis, which reveals that there is a problem in transmission and distribution that is parallel to the shortage in the production of electrical energy, and that any development in the transmission sector and solving the Bottlenecks of the national network will have a positive impact in the form of adding a new capacity to produce electrical energy.

The Prime Minister also indicated the government’s progress and orientation towards this development that allows transfer and flexibility in the transfer of energy, reduci
ng loads, and achieving stability in the hours of supply reaching the citizen, which will support the achievement of development in other sectors, In addition to confirming the direction to complete all stalled projects and finish them completely./End
