The Office of Industry and Trade in the capital Sana’a destroyed today, Wednesday, more than 35 tons of expired cosmetics.

The director of the Industry Office in the Municipality, Majed Al-Sada, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the quantity was destroyed in accordance with legal procedures, and with the participation of a member of the Industry Prosecution in the capital Sana’a.

He indicated that the office had seized expired cosmetics with the participation of the Industry Branch in Azal district.

Al-Sada stressed the continuation of the committees and field monitoring teams of the office and its branches in the directorates, to control prices in markets and shops in all the directorates of the Capital Municipality and to take legal measures against violators.

The Office of Industry and Trade in the Capital Sana’a called upon all merchants to abide by the price list issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
