A decrease was recorded for Construction Cost Index in Palestine in August – PCBS

The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings in the West Bank decreased by 0.07% during August compared with July, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).

At the level of major groups, the price of rental of equipment decreased by 0.46%, and raw material slightly decreased by 0.09%. At the same time, labor costs and wages remained stable during August compared with the previous month.

CCI for non-residential buildings in the West Bank also decreased by 0.09% during August.

At the level of major groups, the price of rental of equipment decreased by 0.45%, and raw material decreased by 0.12%. At the same time, labor costs and wages remained stable during August.

CCI for skeleton buildings also decreased by 0.38% during August.

At the level of major groups, the prices of raw materials decreased by 0.56%, and rental of equipment decreased by 0.46%. At the same time, labor costs and wages remained stable during August 2021 compared with the previous month.

The overall Road Cost Index (RCI) in the West Bank increased by 0.03% during August compared with July.

At the level of major groups, the price of operating cost of equipment and maintenance group increased by 1.99%, and rental of equipment increased by 0.33%. While raw materials decreased by 0.12%. At the same time, labor costs and wages group remained stable during August 2021 compared with the previous month.

The overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) in the West Bank remained stable.

Reservoirs Cost index decreased by 0.61%, while Water Networks Cost Index increased by 0.25%.

The overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank also decrease by 0.22% during August compared with July, said the PCBS.
