RAMALLAH, Five people died of coronavirus in Palestine in the last 24 hours as the country witnessed a surge in the new confirmed case reaching 3620.

The Ministry of Health said today that the five deaths were recorded in the West Bank where the number of new cases has reached 2630 while 314 corona patients have recovered.

The Gaza Strip reported confirming 990 new cases and 50 recoveries.

The Ministry said 90 corona patients are currently getting treatment in hospitals while 58 are in intensive care and 20 are on ventilators.
