The President of the Presidential Council, Muhammad al-Manfi, met Thursday with the head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba.

The Prime Minister’s Media Office said that the meeting, which was held at the Cabinet Office, focused on discussing ways to support international and local efforts to hold the elections and make them successful, and to support the efforts of the UN envoy Abdullah Batili in this regard.

The two sides also followed up on government spending for the current year, emphasizing the principle of disclosure and transparency in all procedures, and supporting the efforts of the local administration by activating the municipal file in all aspects.
