RAMALLAH, At least 2347 new COVID-19 cases and 14 deaths were recorded in Palestine in the last 24 hours, in addition to 352 new cases recorded in occupied East Jerusalem over the last week, today said the daily report by Minister of Health Mai Alkaila on COVID-19 in Palestine.

She said 910 new cases were recorded in the West Bank and six deaths, while 807 patients have recovered, while 1437 new cases were recorded in the Gaza Strip and eight deaths, while 587 patients have recovered. A total of 71 patients recovered in East Jerusalem.

Alkaila said 172 COVID-19 patients are getting treatment in hospitals, and 73 are in intensive care, while 15 patients are on ventilators.

At total of 1,226,283 people have so far been vaccinated in the West Bank and Gaza Strip with over 500,000 getting the second dose of the vaccine.
