RAMALLAH, Six people have died of coronavirus in the West Bank and Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, 680 new cases were recorded and 470 have recovered, today said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila. No data was available from East Jerusalem.
She said five of the deaths were in the West Bank ranging in age between 51 and 88 years, and the sixth in the Gaza Strip.
Of the new cases, 410 were in the West Bank, where 260 have recovered, and 270 in the Gaza Strip, where 210 have recovered, said the Minister.
Most of the new cases in the West Bank were in the Nablus district where 132 cases were recorded, followed by 82 in the Hebron district, 54 in the Bethlehem district, and 41 in the Ramallah area.
Alkaila said 41 patients remain in intensive care, among them 10 are on respirators.
