The office will offer Doble’s full consulting and testing services, as well as sales and technical support for Doble’s suite of diagnostic test equipment. The company is now positioned to provide more robust educational programs and training, as demand grows. Currently, Doble products are distributed through 20 channel partners in the region.

Additionally, the Life of a Transformer™ conference will be held in San Antonio, TX, USA in February and Lyon, France in May of 2015; this marks the 13th and 3rd occurrences of the event, respectively.

The training seminar provides electric power professionals with the most up-to-date information on how transformers are designed, how to manage critical health risks and how to effectively analyze data provided by test equipment. The conference will be held from January 18-21, 2015, with an optional fifth day for laboratory diagnostics training, and an agenda that considers the specific needs of the region. Located in Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT), Doble Engineering JLT has been established as a limited liability company in Dubai and is currently open for business. Mourad Hamdi, the General Manager of the Middle East office will be running day-to-day operations at Doble JLT. Hamdi joined Doble Engineering Company in August 2012, with more than nine years of experience in the transformer and switchgear manufacturing and utility sectors.

Two new technical application engineers have also been hired to work in the Dubai office and support clients.

This news comes shortly after Doble announced its newly expanded relationship with National Grid Saudi Arabia, which includes a comprehensive transformer condition assessment program.
