Foreign Ministry urges US administration to intervene to stop Israel’s escalation

RAMALLAH– The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates called today upon the US administration and the international community to immediately intervene to stop the Israeli escalation of tensions in the occupied Palestinian Territory.

The Ministry also called in a press statement on the International Criminal Court to immediately start its investigations into the crimes and human rights violations of the Israeli occupation and settlers.

Last night, a special unit of the Israeli occupation army shot and killed three Palestinian young men near the town of Arraba, to the south of Jenin city in the north of the West Bank.

“This crime is an integral part of the series of daily killings against our people with the approval of the Israeli political echelon, and are an explicit call to explode the situation and agitate violence and chaos during the holy month of Ramadan,” the Ministry said.

The Foreign Ministry held the Israeli government of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett fully and directly responsible for this crime, calling on the international community to provide international protection for our people.
