Goalkeeper of Qatar Football Team Proud to Join National Team Again

Goalkeeper of Qatar national football team Jassim Al Hail said he was happy to join the squad of Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz in preparation for the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2023 to be hosted by the United States of America and Canada from June 24 to July 16.

In a statement today, the 31-year-old Al Hail said that it was a great honor for him to join the national team again. Everyone is looking forward to appearing in a good way and to preparing well for the Gold Cup tournament, he noted.

The Gold Cup tournament includes teams with a great reputation at the continental level, and it will constitute an important event for the team in light of the new names that were invited in addition to the existing players, Al Hail said. Everyone hopes to attain the required readiness during the next camp in Austria in order to reach the desired goal in the continental tournament and have the best levels and the best results, he added.

Al Hail, who previously played for Qatar Club before moving to Al-Arabi, continued by highlighting his great ambitions during the coming period, especially after the success he achieved with Al-Arabi in the last season which he consider the best season for him, as they won the Amir Cup title and were runners-up in the league standings.

The Al Adaam goalkeeper praised Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz who has a busy career with many international teams, stressing that everyone is looking forward to implementing his instructions in order to achieve the team’s goals, especially by defending the continental title in the Asian Cup to be hosted by Qatar in January 2024.
