Hodeida University on Wednesday held a festive event across its faculties and centers to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday.
The celebration, featuring speeches from university officials including Dr. Abdul-Ilah Abu Ali and Dr. Ahmed al-Zira’i, emphasized the significance of the occasion in fostering compassion and solidarity.
The event highlighted the Yemeni tradition of joyfully marking this important day with decorations, seminars, and reflections on the Prophet’s life and teachings, amidst contemporary challenges facing the nation.
Attendees included faculty members, students, and university staff, and the program included poetry and chanting to honor the Prophet.
