HPC, Share-Net Jordan hold annual meeting

The Higher Population Council (HPC) held the annual meeting of the members of Share-Net Jordan, a knowledge platform and database, within the framework of maintaining partners’ knowledge of the platform’s accomplishments. In a statement by the council on Monday, HPC Secretary-General Issa Masarwa stressed the importance of Share-Net Jordan in bridging the knowledge gap in the field of sexual and reproductive health. For his part, Ali Al-Metliq, the director of the council’s study and policy unit and the coordinator of Share-Net Jordan, talked about the project’s achievements for 2022 and its plan for 2023 as well as priorities and future aspiration for the next year. During the meeting, the outputs of the project improvement model program using the participatory approach were also reviewed, represented in the preparation of an awareness guide for parents on the sexual and reproductive health of their adolescents and a short video about the same theme. Share-Net Jordan, which was created in 2016, aims at showcasing research, policies, and practices by generating, sharing, translating, and promoting the use of knowledge on its platform to develop better sexual and reproductive health policies and practices.
