Hukumati platform wins 2023 MENA Silver Stevie Award

The Hukumati Government Services Platform won a 2023 Middle East and North Africa Silver Stevie Award, the Council of Ministers’ Secretary General Amjad Ghanem said on Tuesday.

Ghanem stated that the Hukumati platform, a unified online application platform through which the various government departments electronically provide their services to citizens and other sectors, was named a Silver Winner of the Middle East and North Africa Stevie Award for the Innovative Use of Technology in Customer Service – Government.

He added that the Hukumati Government Services Platform won the award, competing with over 800 government, municipal and private sector institutions from 20 nations in the Middle East and North Africa, while confirming that the platform was now available for download from the Apple App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android version).

The 2023 Middle East and North Africa Stevie Awards have recognized organizations in 20 nations including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iran, United Kingdom, Qatar, Egypt and Oman.

More than 800 Nominations in Arabic and English were evaluated in this year’s competition and winners were determined by the average scores of more than 150 professionals worldwide, acting as judges in more than 150 categories recognizing achievements, apps, companies, public relations, COVID-19 response, customer service, human resources, live and virtual events, management, social media, technology, Thought Management and more.

Taken from the name Stephanos, which is derived from the Greek for “crowned”, and sponsored by RAK Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Stevie Awards are conferred in eight programs: the Middle East and North Africa Stevie Awards, the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, the German Stevie Awards, the American Business Awards, the International Business Awards, the Stevie Awards for Women in Business, the Stevie Awards for Great Employers, and the Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service.

The focus of all categories in the Middle East and North Africa Stevie Awards is on innovation: innovation in all its forms, in every aspect of work life and achievement.
