Human rights activist held in administrative detention

RAMALLAH, The Israeli military court at Ofer, near Ramallah, sentenced human rights activist Ayman Nasser Karajeh, 48, to six months in administrative detention, the Prisoners’ Affairs Commission said on Monday.

Karajeh, from the Ramallah area village of Saffa and a father of four, is legal unit coordinator at Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association.

Arrested on September 9, Karajeh previously served one year in administrative detention.
