Implementation of road projects with self-initiatives with length of 14 km in Hajjah province

The Directorate of Aflah Al-Sham, Hajjah Governorate, witnessed during the last period of the current year the implementation of multiple projects in the field of roads, with self-community initiatives, with a length of 14 kilometers

The implemented projects embodied the community’s sense of responsibility and response to the call of the leader of the revolution, Al-Sayyes Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi to contribute to the process of construction and development, achieving renaissance and strengthening factors of steadfastness.

The initiatives reflected the level of awareness among the people of the Directorate in strengthening the factors of steadfastness and embodying the slogan launched by the martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad, “A hand that protects – a hand that builds” on the ground.

According to a report issued by the Initiatives Department in the directorate, the implemented projects were distributed between incision projects of 4 km in length and a survey of 8 km in length, in addition to paving projects of a length of 2 km.

The report indicated that the projects included paving the roads of Koula Saad Al-Abadla Bani Manea in the isolation of Beit Abu Hadi and Al-Abadla, with a length of 1,500 meters, benefiting 3,000 people in Al-Saba, and Wadi Bani Thama-Raqqa, with a length of 2,500 meters, and benefiting 12,000 people in the same isolation.

The report indicated that the road of Al-Ruba’ were surveyed with a length of 2 km, benefiting 7,000 people from the isolation of Bani Al-Harith and Dra’ Al-Naid Al-Arifi, with a length of 2 km and 500 meters, benefiting 12,000 people.

With regard to paving projects, the report indicated that the Al-Jahili Bani Mani` Al-Mad`a road, with a length of two kilometers, was paved, benefiting 5,000 people in Bani Hafeez and Al-Makarama, in addition to building two classrooms in the 30th of November School.

The Director of the Directorate, Zaid Al-Hashi, indicated the completion of studies to implement road projects with community initiatives during the coming period, the cooperation of the local authority in the governorate, and the contribution of the Central Emergency Development Intervention Unit.

It indicated that the projects include surveying and maintaining the main line, which is 18 kilometers long and 10 meters wide, and the road branching from it, which is represented by surveying and maintaining the Al-Ruba road with a length of 6 kilometers and a width of 4 meters in the isolation of Bani Al-Harith.

The statement indicated that the study included a project to survey and maintain the road to the village of Al-Hamra Bani Falah, with a length of 4 km and a width of 4 meters, benefiting 8,000 residents of the Bani Hafeez sub-district.

It added that the study included the survey and maintenance of the Khuwayma Road, Wadi Bani Thama, with a length of 1,500 meters, benefiting 5,000 people from the isolation of Beit Abu Hadi and Al-Abadla.

Al-Hashi praised the interaction of the governorate’s leadership in including new projects within the next stages of supporting community initiatives, with the contribution of the Central Emergency Development Intervention Unit at the Ministry of Finance.

He appreciated the interaction of the directorate’s people in implementing various projects with self-initiatives, stressing the necessity of integrating efforts and working in a team spirit to expand the circle of projects in various agricultural and development sectors.
