ISRAEL ARRESTS FOUR PALESTINIANS IN HEBRON, JERUSALEM

HEBRON, March 10 – Israeli forces Monday arrested three Palestinians from Hebron, whereas Israeli police arrested a female while existing al-Aqsa Mosque compound, according to security and local sources.

Sources informed WAFA that Israeli forces arrested Qassam Qfisheh from the city of Hebron, in addition to two others from Hebron’s town of Dora. They were identified as Mohamed al-Awawdeh, 31, and Ibrahim Abu Znid, 36.

Meanwhile in Jerusalem, Israeli police arrested Hanadi al-Hilwani while she was leaving al-Aqsa Mosque compound. She was taken to a police center in the city for interrogation.

Al-Aqsa Mosque compound has been a scene of almost daily provocative visits by Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli police. Palestinian worshippers attempt to fend off settlers’ visits through chanting religious slogans, which often leads to clashes, where Palestinians are usually arrested.

Israeli police impose restrictions on Palestinians entry into the Mosque, while allowing settlers to tour its compound.
