Israel plans to seize Palestinian land near Jerusalem for settlement purpose

JERUSALEM, Israel is planning to seize over 1000 dunums of agricultural Palestinian land east of Jerusalem in order to links area settlements together with a road, according to Bassam Bahr, a local activist.

He said that the Israeli municipality of Wes Jerusalem announced plans to open a settlement road in the town of Abu Dis, east of Jerusalem, and therefore it plans to seize the Palestinian land for that purpose.

The road aims to connect the illegal settlements of Ma’ale Adumim and Kedar.
