Israeli army forces Palestinians to close their shops in Nablus-area town

Israeli forces today closed Palestinian-owned commercial shops in the town of Huwwara, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus.

Kamal Odeh, a Fatah official, said that the Israeli soldiers forced commercial shop owners to close them amidst intensifying military presence at the town’s main road.

large military reinforcements were also deployed in the area, along with a number of military outposts.

The official noted that a heavy traffic jam was witnessed on both sides of Huwwara military checkpoint due to the intensified Israeli military measures against the town.

Education Directorates south of Nablus decided to shift to e-learning today in the towns of Huwwara and Madama following the subsequent military measures that came in response to yesterday’s alleged shooting attack that led to the injury of two Israeli.
