Israeli occupation forces today evening delivered ten notices ordering to stop the construction work on houses and structures belonging to Palestinian residents in the village of Marda to the north of Salfit, according to a local official.
Head of Marda village council, Nisfat al-Khafsh, said Israeli military soldiers stormed the village of Marda and handed residents ten notices ordering them to stop the construction work on houses and structures in the northern and eastern parts of the village, under the pretext of being located in area C of the West Bank, under full Israeli administrative and military control.
Out of the 10 structures, six houses are inhibited and located in area B, under Palestinian civil control and Israeli military control. The owners affirmed that they have official building permits.
