Israeli forces deliver stop-construction notices against two houses, shed south of Hebron

Israeli occupation forces today ordered three residents to stop the construction work on two houses and an agricultural shed to the south of Hebron, according to a local activist.

Coordinator of the protection and steadfastness committees in Hebron’s Masafer Yatta, Fuad al-amour, told WAFA that Israeli forces handed two residents notices ordering them to stop work on their houses, including a two-storey house, in the village of Maeen.

Forces also delivered a stop-construction notice against an agricultural shed to the west of the town of Yatta, south of Hebron.

Forces reportedly demolished two agricultural sheds to the east of the town of Yatta earlier today.

To be noted, the Israeli High Court on May 4 gave the army the green light to demolish 12 communities in Hebron’s Masafer Yatta and to displace over 1000 of their residents as part of a plan to seize their lands and homes under the pretext of turning the area into a firing zone for military training.
