Israeli occupation authorities seize bank accounts, vehicles of freed Palestinian prisoners from Jerusalem

The Israeli occupation authorities today seized the bank accounts of two freed prisoners from Jerusalem and their vehicles, as well as the bank account and vehicle of the father of another prisoner, according to WAFA correspondent.

The occupation forces also confiscated the vehicle of the freed prisoner, Ayoub Noman Afana, at an army checkpoint in occupied Jerusalem, and seized his bank account.

The occupation forces as well seized the vehicle of the father of the Jerusalemite prisoner, Bashar al-Obaidi, arrested his mother and interrogated her at the Qalandia military checkpoint. Last week, the Israeli authorities seized the money in their bank account before closing it, according to WAFA correspondent.

This crime came after the decision of the fascist Minister of National Security in the extremist Israeli occupation government, Itamar Ben-Gvir, and the far-right Israeli Minister of Finance, Bezalel Smotrich, to seize the funds of 87 freed prisoners from occupied Jerusalem.

The policy includes seizing the money of freed prisoner and their families, in addition to the seizure of property, cash, and jewelry from their homes.
