RAMALLAH, Oct. 10 – Israeli occupation authorities Thursday seized Palestinian farmlands in Al-Khader and Nahallin villages south west of Bethlehem city.
The Israeli occupation seized about three dunums in Sarb Al-Teen area, near Daniel settlement constructed on the lands belonging to Al-Khader villagers, Palestinian activist in the anti-occupation resistance, Ghassan Najajreh said.
The Israeli occupation forces bulldozed the land and then erected signs that said “Closed area, No entry for Arabs”, Najajreh added.
Other signs were set in the center of the lands stating, “Public gardens will be built for the nearby settlements”.
The Israeli occupation notified Palestinian landlords living in the area a year ago, that the land was ‘state property’ and could not be entered.
The occupation authorities have seized about 900 dunums from Al-Khader, Nahalin and Beit Ommar villages during the past eight months.
