Israeli settlers obstruct Palestinian movement on northern West Bank roads

Israeli settlers today obstructed Palestinian movement on West Bank roads after closing, under army protection, the bypass roads leading the villages of al-Naqoura and Sebastia, north of the northern occupied West Bank city of Nablus.

Mohammad Azem, head of the Sebastia village council, told WAFA that a large group of settlers has been gathering on these roads in preparation to break into the evicted site of the illegal Israeli settlement of Homesh.

He said the Israeli forces prevented Palestinians from driving on these roads while the settlers were allowed to close the roads and obstruct traffic.
