Iyad Allawi’s Media Office Warns Iran That It Will Not Be Able To Fulfill Its Expansionist Dreams In Iraq

Baghdad, The media office of the President of the National Coalition, Iyad Allawi, warned Iran that it will not be able to achieve its expansionist dreams in Iraq, and this is much greater than its dreams and size.

The office stated in a statement: Once again, Iran crosses the red lines, proves its interventions in the Iraqi affairs by challenging the will of the Iraqis and assuring that the designated Prime Minister will gain confidence and that (Tehran – Baghdad – Damascus -Beirut – Palestine) axis will be one axis to expel the Americans and their allies, according to what was stated in the speech of Ali Akbar Velayati, foreign affairs advisor in Khamenei’s office on the occasion of Arbaeen of the commander of the Quds Force, Qassem Soleimani.

The statement added: We condemn this blatant interference in Iraqi affairs, and we warn Iran that it will not be able to achieve its expansionist dreams in the Arab region, including Iraq, and this is much greater than its size and dreams, and that the principles of neighborhood require the respect of neighboring countries and not to interfere in their affairs, which is what we wish from Iran and other neighboring countries.

It explained that: The policy pursued by Iran in its dealings in Iraq and the countries of the region will lead to further escalation and complication of the conditions in it.

The office reiterated its call for Iran to pursue a more prudent and rational policy and to deal with the countries of the region as peer and peer, not to deal as the subordinate because that would backfire on it and would harm its interest and the interests of its people first.
