Jordan, Turkiye talk cooperation in construction

Jordan’s Minister of Public Works and Housing, Maher Abul Samen, and the Turkish Ambassador in Amman, Erdem Ozan, held talks Tuesday about cooperation in construction, contracting and housing.

The talks focused on Turkey’s experience in transport, the promotion of trade exchange and completing the work of the new building project for the Hijazi Calligraphy Museum.

Abul Samen said his Ministry “is ready” to partner with Turkish authorities on housing, construction and contracting and to exchange experiences.

He lauded the Turkish ambassador’s efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries.

For his part, Ozan noted the “deep-rooted” ties between Jordan and Turkiye, praising Jordanian engineers and contractors’ “prestigious” standing in the region.
