National Council calls on Britain to recognize Palestine

AMMAN, Friday, The Palestinian National Council (PNC), the parliament in exile, has called on Britain to recognize the State of Palestine with Jerusalem as its capital, as well recognize the right of return of the Palestinian refugees to their homes in accordance with the international resolutions.

In a statement commemorating the 101st anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, PNC reiterated the call on the British government to rectify its fault when it gave Jews the right to establish their homeland in Palestine in a historic precedent of injustice, ethnic cleansing, and aggression.

PNC stressed that the Palestinian generations will not forgive those who committed this ongoing crime, which was the basis for the displacement of the Palestinian people from their homeland and their continuing suffering.
