Palestine’s Producer Price Index up in October by over 3.3 percent – statistics bureau

RAMALLAH, The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine increased in October by 3.36% compared to September, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
PPI increased for locally consumed products by 3.46% and for locally exported products by 2.47% compared to September, it said.
The changes of PPI for October were traced back to changes in prices of the following major activities compared to the previous month:

Agriculture, forestry and fishing goods + 11.76%
Water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities + 0.85%
Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply – 1.41%
Mining and quarrying – 0.09%
Manufacturing – 0.04%
