BETHLEHEM, Feb 24 — Israeli occupation forces shot dead a Palestinian teenager Jihad Ja’fari (18) during a raid on Deheisha refugee camp south Bethlehem at dawn Tuesday.
Israeli private units and soldiers broke into the camp at 2:30 am, attacked several houses, arrested residents and opened fire, which lead to the clashes between the youngsters and soldiers.
Israeli snipers climbed up the roofs of houses and opened fire on the youngsters, where Jihad was shot dead and other youngsters were injured.
Jihad’s uncle, Mohammed Ja’fari told PNN Jihad was killed with cold blood by a sniper.
He added that the soldiers were too provocative and spread terror in their attack on the camp.
Jihad is a member of the Palestine Liberation organization (Fatah) movement.
He was buried after the Duhur prayers in the Martyrs’ Cemetery (Al-Shuhada) in Deheisha.
