Palestinian university campus raided by Israeli soldiers, students injured

A large Israeli army force today raided the campus of Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, in the northern West Bank city of Tulkarm, firing tear gas and rubber bullets at students, injuring some, reported WAFA correspondent.

She said that the forces broke into the campus from the western parts located near the apartheid barrier, firing rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas at students inside the campus.

Two students were injured by rubber bullets and 16 suffered suffocation, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent.

The students were quickly evacuated from the university and classes were suspended for the day.
