RAMALLAH, An increase in registered exports and imports in goods has been noted in November 2021, compared to the previous month, according to a statement by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
Exports increased in November by 12% compared to October. It also increased by 27% compared to November 2020 and reached $148.5 million.
Exports to Israel increased in November by 10% compared to October and it represented 84% of total November exports.
At the same time, exports to other countries increased by 20% during the same period compared to October.
Imports increased in November by 2% compared to October. It also increased by 41% compared to November 2020 and reached $635.1 million.
Imports from Israel increased by 2% in November compared to October and it represented 54% of total imports in November.
At the same time, imports from other countries increased by 2% compared to October.
The trade balance which represents the difference between exports and imports showed a decrease in trade deficit by 1% in November compared to October, while it increased by 47% compared to November 2020 and reached $486.6 million.
