Hussein Sheikh, Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), has condemned the killing of American activist Aysenur Ezgi Eygi by Israeli forces, describing it as another crime in a series of daily violations by the occupation forces.
In a statement posted to his X account, Sheikh emphasized the need for holding those responsible accountable in international courts.
Ezgi Eygi, who was actively involved in protests against Israeli settlement expansion, was fatally shot in the head by Israeli forces while participating in a demonstration in Mount Sabih, near Beita, south of Nablus. Her murder has sparked calls for justice and international intervention.
