CAIRO, Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh discussed today with his Egyptian counterpart Mustafa Madbouly ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting held at the Egyptian Council of Ministers in Cairo, Shtayyeh reviewed the situation in Palestine in general as well as opportunities of cooperation in the economic, commercial and agricultural fields.
He also highlighted the necessity to encourage investment in Palestine and benefiting from the Egyptian experience in building Palestinian industrial cities and expanding trade exchange through opening Palestinian markets to Egyptian goods as an alternative to Israeli goods.
After the meeting, Shtayyeh and Madbouly co-chaired joint talks in the presence of ministers from both countries.
