President Abbas arrives in Cyprus for a 3-day visit

President Mahmoud Abbas arrived today in the Cypriot capital, Nicosia, for a three-day official visit.

Upon his arrival, President Abbas was received by the Cypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ioannis Kasoulides.

During the visit, President Abbas is scheduled to meet with senior officials, including Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades.

Both leaders will discuss the latest developments related to the Palestinian issue, political developments in the region, and bilateral relations between the two countries.

On his visit, the president is accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Riyad Al-Maliki, head of the General Intelligence Service, Major General Majed Faraj, President’s advisor, Mustafa Abu al-Rub, and the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Cyprus Abdullah Al-Attari.
