President Mahmoud Abbas made a phone call today with Minister Ahmad Assaf, the General Supervisor of the Official Media, after the latter had tested positive for COVID.

The President expressed his wishes of a speedy recovery for Minister Assaf.

Minister Assaf is in charge of the media outlets run by the State of Palestine, including the Palestine News and Information Agency (WAFA).
