President calls family of young man killed by Israeli soldiers, offers condolences

President Mahmoud Abbas today evening called the family of Mohammad Ali Khabisa in the northern West Bank town of Beita who was killed yesterday by Israeli soldiers to offer his condolences.

The Ministry of Health said 28-year-old Mohammad Ali Khabisa sustained a critical gunfire injury in the head after he was shot by Israeli occupation soldiers during the weekly anti-colonization march in the village. He was rushed to a nearby healthcare center, where he was pronounced dead.

The president extended his heartfelt condolences to the family.
