President Mahmoud Abbas today congratulated President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his election as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
President Abbas also wished the Nigerian President-elect success in achieving the goals and aspirations of the Nigerian people.
Commending the bilateral relations of brotherhood, solidarity and mutual respect between Palestine and Nigeria, the President expressed his hope to work with President Tinubu to improve these relations to the best interests of the two peoples.
President Abbas further expressed his appreciation for Nigeria’s principled stances towards the Palestinian people and their just cause.
