Ramallah governor pays holiday visit to families of Christians held in Israeli jails

RAMALLAH, Wednesday, Ramallah Governor Laila Ghannam, accompanied by Ramallah Mayor Mousa Hadid and the head of the Prisoners Commission, Qadri Abu Baker, visited on Wednesday on the occasion of the Christian holidays families of Palestinian Christians in the Ramallah district imprisoned by Israel for their resistance of the occupation.

The visit included the families of Ibrahim Masad Hani, who is serving a life sentence, the family of Marwan Muadi, serving eight years, former prisoners Hanan Mseih and Viola Saadeh, and former mayor of the town of Birzeit, Jouhar Siaj.

Ghannam said that the most difficult time for the families of prisoners is when they celebrate the holidays without their loved one who are either held in the prisons of the Israeli occupation authority or were killed by the Israeli army.
