Settlers attack Palestinian residents and homes north of Hebron

Israeli settlers today attacked Palestinian residents, homes and vehicles in Beit Ummar town, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron.

Activist Mohammad Awad told WAFA that settlers threw rocks at a Palestinian home in Beit Umma, smashing its windows.

They also throw rocks at a vehicle while parked on the main road at the house of another resident.

Settlers also assaulted a 54-year-old man while herding his sheep. Residents were able to come to the aid of the man and save him from the settlers.

Meanwhile, settlers also attacked herders in Masafer Yatta in the South Hebron Hills and forced them to leave the pastures, according to Rateb al-Jabour, an activist.
