Settlers attack school near Nablus

NABLUS, Thursday, A Palestinian was injured on Thursday during clashes with Israeli forces after Jewish settlers attacked a school in the village of Urif, to the south of the city of Nablus, according to Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in the north of the West Bank.

He told WAFA that more than 50 settlers attacked the high school leading to clashes with the residents. Soldiers intervened on behalf of the settlers and attacked the students and residents.

A 35-year-old was shot in the thigh and injured. He was taken to hospital.

Classes were interrupted and the school was evacuated for the safety of the students, said Daghlas.
