Settlers attack vehicles with stones near Nablus

NABLUS, Sunday, Extremist Jewish settlers attacked with stones Palestinian vehicles passing on the main Nablus-Ramallah road near Huwwara junction, south of Nablus in the West Bank, according to local sources.

Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors Israeli violations in the area, told WAFA that extremist settlers pelted stones at Palestinian vehicles passing at the main road south of Nablus.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces sealed Huwwara checkpoint, the southern entrance to Nablus, to Palestinian traffic, banning the entry and exit of passengers to and from the city.

Last Friday, a 48-year-old Palestinian mother of eight was killed when Israeli settlers threw rocks at the car she was in with her husband south of Nablus.

The woman, Aisha Muhammad Rabi, was hit in the head by a stone thrown at the car she was in on a road south of Nablus. Her husband was moderately injured.
