QALQILIA– The Israeli occupation forces today delivered notices ordering to stop the construction work on two houses belonging to Palestinian residents of the town of Azzoun, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia, according to a local official.

Mayor of Azzoun, Ahmad Enaya, told WAFA that Israeli forces handed two local residents demolition notices against their homes located in the northwest part of the town.

Israel constantly demolishes structures built by Palestinians in Area C of the occupied West Bank which is under full Israeli military control, claiming they were built without a permit, which is rarely issued for Palestinians. It does not allow any development there while using the occupied land for its illegal settlement activity.
