Summer courses in Taiz… Spiritual immunization for youth

Summer schools in Taiz governorate are witnessing a wide turnout in light of the interest of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in summer courses and centers for the year 1444 AH, based on their importance in embracing young people and developing their various abilities.

The summer courses for the current year are an opportunity to purify oneself and promote awareness, faith identity, loyalty and national belonging among male and female students, in a way that benefits them in their academic and practical lives.

Summer courses in Taiz governorate receive great attention from the local authority and the sub-committee for summer centers and offices. In implementation of the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council, in developing the capabilities of young people and expanding their perceptions in the fields of memorizing and reciting the Holy Qur’an, as well as in scientific, cultural and sports activities.

What highlights the activities and events of the summer courses for the current year is the wide interest in consolidating identity and national belonging among male and female students, and warning them of misconceptions and the dangers of soft war that the enemies seek to perpetuate in their minds.

Thousands of people from Taiz governorate, like other people from Yemen, are participating in summer courses to benefit from their activities and discover talents and creativity in various fields, especially scientific seminars, technical, training, sports and entertainment programs.

With regard to the inauguration of the activities of summer courses and schools in Taiz Governorate, the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) highlighted the interest of the concerned and relevant authorities, the interaction of society and the turnout of students.

The head of the sub-committee for summer courses in the governorate, Ismail Sharaf al-Din, confirmed the interest of the governorate leadership in summer courses and schools for this year, based on the directions of the revolution leadership and the Supreme Political Council.

He referred to the conduct of summer activities and the interaction and demand of male and female students to enroll in courses and participate in various programs and activities that were marked, during the current year, by positive interaction by all.

Sharaf Al-Din noted the interaction of young people with the activities of the summer courses, and their keenness to invest their free time in a way that benefits them and society in general.

He touched on the qualitative additions to the summer courses in the governorate’s directorates, indicating that the closed, open, and model summer courses accommodate more than 40,000 male and female students, and the demand is still increasing.

The Chairman of the Committee appreciated the wide and continuous turnout for enrollment in the summer courses, which reflects the awareness of the community and male and female students, to enroll in them and benefit from their programs that will contribute to the development of their abilities and skills in various fields.

Sharaf El-Din stressed the necessity of translating the goals and plans of the summer courses into reality, strengthening efforts to make the enlightening message a success, and preparing a conscious generation armed with the culture of the Qur’an and useful sciences.

He also stressed the keenness and interest of the governorate’s leadership in summer courses to provide male and female students with scientific and cultural knowledge, discover their talents and refine their skills.

For his part, the Director of the Education Office in Taiz Governorate, Abdul Jalil Saif Al-Samei, reported on the diversity of summer activities and programs for the year 1444 AH, and the interaction of male and female enrollees.

He pointed to the increasing level of demand for summer courses to take advantage of its various programs and activities to develop skills and talents and invest energies in a way that benefits young people in their academic and practical lives.

Al-Samei indicated that the number of closed summer courses is four centers that accommodate more than 400 male and female students at the Al-Jand and Imam Ali Center, peace be upon him. pointing out that the typical summer courses reached 112 schools at the level of directorates and open courses; Distributed to more than 300 summer centers in the directorates.

He explained that nearly two thousand male and female teachers and educational staff work in summer schools, including “qualifying, basic, intermediate, and higher” levels.

The director of the Education Office in the governorate stressed the need for the governorate to increase the number of summer schools due to the population density, especially in remote areas far from the center of the governorate, which requires the integration of efforts to accommodate the largest number of young people.

He praised the role of women in supervising the awareness of female students about summer schools and their keenness to follow up and evaluate their activities and facilitate their tasks in order to ensure their success and achieve their goals.
