Teargas canisters fired by Israeli soldiers fall into West Bank schoolyard causing suffocation among students

Dozens of students suffered suffocation after Israeli soldiers fired tear gas canisters into their school in the village of Tel, southwest of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, according to a local activist.

Issam Seifi, an activist with Fatah movement, said soldiers fired tear gas canisters inside the school leading to the suffocation of a number of students, which he said was not the first time soldiers targeted students at the village’s boys high school.

He said soldiers stationed at an army watchtower located near the village regularly target students as they leave their school.
