RAMALLAH, A significant drop in temperature is expected for Monday, which remains above the annual average, with a chance of rain and thunderstorms expected on some areas, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Wind is northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, active at times and sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 28C and a low of 19C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 27C and a low of 18C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 37C and a low of 26C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30C and a low of 24C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
A slight rise in temperature is expected for Tuesday and Wednesday, which drops significantly again on Thursday but remains above the mean, said the PMD.
