RAMALLAH, Friday, January, Weather on Friday is partially cloudy to clear and relatively very cold in daytime and cold in nighttime with a slight rise of temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly and light to moderate in daytime before becoming northwesterly to westerly and light in nighttime. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 14C and a low of 7C and in Ramallah a high of 13C and a low of 6C. In Jericho, temperature is expected to reach a high of 21C and a low of 12C, while it is expected to reach a high of 18C and a low of 10C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Saturday’s weather is partially cloudy to clear and relatively cold in daytime and very cold in nighttime. There is a slight chance of sporadic light showers falling on some of the northern districts in night hours.
A low pressure is expected to affect the region on Sunday as temperature is set to significantly drop. Partially cloudy skies are expected for early morning, with increasing cloudiness, sporadic rain showers and occasional thunderstorms and hail. Wind gusts are expected to reach 80 km/h.
Sunny skies in the early giving way to steady rain in the afternoon and evening with showers continuing late.
Monday’s temperature is set to remain steady. Partially cloudy and chilly to very chilly conditions are expected with a chance of rain showers, especially in the morning hours on northern districts.
PMD warns people against gusty winds, especially on Sunday, floods in valleys and low areas, low visibility due to fog formation and low clouds, and slippery roads.
