RAMALLAH, Weather on Friday is sunny and relatively warm to war in mountainous districts and very warm in other districts with a rise of temperatures which approach 3C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Weather becomes generally clear and pleasant in mountainous districts and relatively warm in other districts in nighttime. Wind is northwesterly to northeasterly, and light to moderate. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem is set to reach a high of 31C and a low of 20C and in Ramallah a high of 30C and a low of 19C. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, temperature is set to reach a high of 40C and a low of 26C, while it is expected to reach a high of 29C and a low of 24C in Gaza.
PMD expects temperatures to further rise and approach 5C above the seasonal average on Saturday with relatively warm to warm conditions in mountainous districts and very warm in other districts.
Sunday’s weather is abundantly sunny and warm in mountainous districts and very warm in other districts with intervals of high clouds. Temperatures are set to rise and approach 7C above the seasonal average with a slight chance of sporadic showers on some districts.
Temperatures are expected to significantly drop and get closer to the seasonal average on Monday. Partially cloudy to clear and pleasant conditions are expected for mountainous districts and relatively warm conditions for other districts with a slight chance of sporadic showers on some districts.
PMD warns people against being directly exposed to sunlight for long periods, especially during peak hours from 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM as well as against setting fires to dry grass.
