RAMALLAH, Weather on Tuesday is warm in mountainous districts and very warm in the Jordan Valley in daytime with a rise of temperatures which approaches 8C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Weather is set to be pleasant in mountainous districts and relatively warm in other districts in nighttime. Wind is northwesterly to northeasterly and light to moderate with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 33C and a low of 20C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 32C and a low of 19C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 41C and a low of 24C, while it is expected to reach a high of 31C and a low of 21C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Wednesday’s temperature is set to drop and approach 6C above the seasonal average with warm to very warm conditions in daytime and relatively warm conditions in nighttime.
Thursday’s temperature is set to remain steady with warm to very warm conditions in daytime and relatively warm conditions in nighttime.
PMD expects Friday’s temperature to slightly drop and approach 3C above the seasonal average with relatively warm to warm conditions in most districts and very warm in the Jordan Valley.
PMD warns people against direct exposure to sunlight for long period, particularly from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and setting fire to dry leaves and grass.
