Weather: Normal summer conditions with a rise in temperature to become around annual average

RAMALLAH, Normal summer conditions are expected today in Palestine with a rise in temperature, which becomes around the seasonal average, while relatively cold conditions are expected at night mainly in the mountainous areas, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are northwesterly, light to moderate and sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 18°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 27°C and a low of 17°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 37°C and a low of 26°C while it is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 21°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A further rise in temperature is expected tomorrow, Sunday, to become 2°C above the seasonal average.

An additional slight rise in temperature is expected on Monday, becoming 3°C above the seasonal average, which remains the same on Tuesday, said the PMD.
